RUNXIN F63B1/B3
RUNXIN F63B1/B3
The Runxin F63B1 and F63B3 are automatic, top-mounted control valves for water softening systems. Their primary difference is the regeneration control type: the F63B1 is a Time Clock type, while the F63B3 is a Meter type.

Primary Applications
- Residential softening and filtration.
- Ion exchange equipment.
- Boiler water softening.
- RO (Reverse Osmosis) pretreatment systems.
F63B1 (Time Clock) if your water usage is very regular and you don't mind regenerating on a fixed schedule, even if full capacity isn't used.
F63B3 (Meter) if you want to maximize efficiency. It only regenerates when necessary, saving water and salt. This is generally the preferred and more modern choice for most applications.
Operation Cycles
- Service: Normal water treatment/softening mode.
- Backwash: Reverses flow to loosen the resin bed and remove accumulated debris.
- Brine & Slow Rinse: Draws salt solution from the brine tank into the resin bed for regeneration.
- Brine Refill: Directs water back into the brine tank to prepare for the next cycle.
- Fast Rinse: Rinses out any remaining brine and settles the resin bed before returning to service.
Key Features
- Five Regeneration Cycles: Automatically sequences through Service, Backwash, Brine & Slow Rinse, Brine Refill, and Fast Rinse.
- No Water Bypass: When the single tank is in regeneration, the valve ensures no untreated water passes through to the service line.
- Manual Regeneration: Allows you to initiate an immediate regeneration cycle by simply pressing a button.
- User Interface: Features an LED/LCD showing valve status. The screen will flash if power has been out for more than 3 days, prompting a clock reset.
- Keypad Lock: Automatically locks the buttons after 1 minute of inactivity to prevent accidental setting changes.
- Interlock Capability: Can be wired in a system with multiple valves to ensure only one regenerates at a time.
