Primary Applications

  • Residential softening and filtration.
  • Ion exchange equipment.
  • Boiler water softening.
  • RO (Reverse Osmosis) pretreatment systems.

The F65B1 (Time Clock). This model initiates regeneration based on a preset time interval, such as every 3 days at 2:00 AM. It is ideal for applications with consistent and predictable water usage patterns, as it will flush the system on a fixed schedule, regardless of whether the full capacity has been reached.

The F65B3 (Meter/Volumetric) model features a built-in flow meter that accurately measures the amount of water being treated. It initiates a regeneration cycle only after a preset volume of water has been processed, such as every 5,000 liters. This approach is generally more efficient for households with varying water usage because it ensures that regeneration occurs only when necessary.

Operation Cycles

  • Service: Hard water is filtered through the resin.
  • Backwash: Water flows upward through the resin to remove accumulated sediment.
  • Brine & Slow Rinse: Brine solution is drawn into the tank to exchange ions, followed by a slow rinse.
  • Brine Refill: The valve adds water back into the brine tank to prepare for the next cycle.
  • Fast Rinse: Final downward rinse to settle the resin bed and remove any lingering salt traces.

Key Features

  • Hermetic Head Seal: The valve utilizes high-degree pottery and corrosion-resistant ceramic moving disks. This design provides a reliable seal that is resistant to wear, aging, and chemical degradation from salt or scale.
  • No Water Bypass: During the regeneration cycle, the valve automatically shuts off the outlet to prevent untreated "hard" water from entering the service line.
  • Manual Override: A manual function allows for the initiation of an immediate regeneration cycle if the water quality drops before the scheduled time.
  • LED Display: The front panel features a clear LED screen that displays the current time, remaining volume (for B3), or days until next regeneration (for B1).
  • Interlock Capability: Multiple valves can be connected in a system to ensure only one valve is in regeneration at a time, maintaining consistent water pressure.
