RUNXIN F74A1/A3
RUNXIN F74A1/A3
The Runxin F74A1 (time clock) and F74A3 (meter type) are automatic, top-mounted multi-port control valves designed for water softening systems with a maximum production capacity of 10 m³/h.
These valves employ corrosion-resistant ceramic hermetic sealing technology to manage various regeneration processes. They are commonly used in industrial, commercial, and residential water softening applications.

Primary Applications
The Runxin F74A1/A3 is commonly utilized in:
- Boiler Feed Water: Preventing scale buildup in industrial heating systems.
- Commercial Softening: Laundries, hotels, and apartment complexes.
- Pre-treatment for RO: Protecting Reverse Osmosis membranes from hardness ions.
- Ion Exchange Systems: Various demineralization and softening processes.
Operation Cycles
The F74A series performs a standard 5-cycle regeneration process, which can be initiated either at a preset time (F74A1) or after a set volume of water has been treated (F74A3). The cycles are:
- Service: Normal operation, producing treated water.
- Backwash: Water flows upward to lift and clean the resin bed.
- Brine & Slow Rinse: Salt solution is drawn from the brine tank to regenerate the resin.
- Brine Refill: Fresh water is added to the brine tank to prepare salt solution for the next regeneration.
- Fast Rinse: A final high-speed rinse to remove any remaining brine and prepare the system for service.
Key Features
- Hermetic Head Faces: The valve uses high-degree ceramic and synthetic materials for the moving parts. This provides excellent resistance to corrosion and wear, ensuring a leak-proof seal over thousands of cycles.
- Manual Override: Even in the event of a power failure or electronic malfunction, the valve can be operated manually using a handle to ensure continuous water processing.
- No Hard Water Bypass: During the regeneration process, the valve automatically shuts off the outlet to prevent untreated water from entering the service line.
- LCD Display & Keyboard Lock: Features a clear screen for monitoring status and a lock function that prevents unauthorized or accidental changes to the settings after one minute of inactivity.
- Flexible Regeneration: The F74A3 model typically supports Meter Delayed, Meter Immediate, and Timer regeneration modes, allowing for optimization based on water usage patterns.
