RUNXIN F88A
RUNXIN F88A
The Runxin F88A is a duplex, twin-alternating automatic softener valve designed for high-capacity applications requiring a continuous, 24/7 supply of soft water.
The F88A1 is a Twin-Alternating system. This configuration uses two mineral tanks and one control valve.
- Continuous Service: While one tank is in "Service" mode, providing soft water, the other is in "Standby" or "Regeneration" mode.
- Automatic Switching: Once the pre-set water capacity is reached in the active tank, the valve automatically switches the flow to the standby tank and begins regenerating the exhausted resin.
Specification
- Valve Type: Automatic Softener Valve (Dual-Tank)
- Flow Capacity: 10 m³/h
- Regeneration Type: Upflow / Meter Type
- Mounting Type: Side Mount (Two tanks: one in service, one for standby)

Primary Applications
The Runxin F88A is best suited for environments requiring a "Zero Downtime" water supply. Common use cases include:
- Commercial Facilities: Hotels, apartment buildings, restaurants, and laundromats that need soft water at all peak usage times.
- Light Industrial: Boiler feed water protection, RO (Reverse Osmosis) pretreatment, and process water preparation.
Operation Cycles
- Service: Normal operation, producing treated water.
- Backwash: Water flows upward to lift and clean the resin bed.
- Brine & Slow Rinse: Salt solution is drawn from the brine tank to regenerate the resin.
- Brine Refill: Fresh water is added to the brine tank to prepare a salt solution for the next regeneration.
- Fast Rinse: A final high-speed rinse to remove any remaining brine and prepare the system for service.
Key Features
- Core Technology: Utilizes a high-grade ceramic disk for sealing and opening. This material offers superior resistance to corrosion and wear from brine and pressure cycles, ensuring longevity and reliable leak protection compared to piston-type valves.
- One Valve, Two Tanks: The system is designed to manage two tanks simultaneously. While one tank is in "Service" providing soft water, the other is on "Standby" or undergoing regeneration. This configuration prevents system downtime during the cleaning cycle.
- Control & Interface:
- Meter-Controlled: Regeneration is triggered by water volume consumption (Meter mode) rather than just time. This saves salt and water by regenerating only when necessary.
- Manual Override: Users can press the "Manual/Return" button to initiate immediate regeneration for maintenance or test cycles.
- Dual-Purpose Valve: With a simple setting adjustment, the valve can be configured for different regeneration types.
- Power Failure Memory: If power is lost for more than 3 days, the time display flashes "12:12" as a reminder to reset the clock. However, other parameter settings are retained in memory, and the system continues running when power is restored.
