RUNXIN F95A1/A3

The Runxin F95A1/A3 are high-capacity, side-mount automatic softener valves designed for industrial and large commercial water treatment systems, capable of handling flow rates up to 20m³/h.

These valves are designed to automate the service, backwash, brine, and rinse cycles for water softeners with tank diameters ranging from 28 to 40 inches.

The primary difference is the regeneration trigger:

  • F95A1 (Time Clock Type): Initiates regeneration based on specific time intervals or days.
  • F95A3 (Meter Type): Initiates regeneration based on actual water usage volume.

Specification

  • Valve Type: Automatic Softener Valve
  • Flow Capacity: 20 m³/h
  • Mounting Type: Side-mount
  • Inlet/Outlet Size: 2" Male Thread
  • Drain: 1.5" Male Thread
  • Brine Line: 3/4" Male Thread
  • Water Turbidity: <5 FTU
  • Working Pressure: 0.2 - 0.6 MPa
  • Water Temperature: 5°C - 50°C (41°F - 122°F)
  • Mounting Base: 2" Male, (Side mount, Top & Bottom distributor basket)
  • Riser Pipe: 2" Male, (Side mount, Top & Bottom distributor basket)
  • Filter Tank: 28" - 40"

Primary Applications

  • Boiler Feed Water: Softening water to prevent scale buildup in industrial boilers and heat exchangers.
  • RO Pre-treatment: Protecting Reverse Osmosis membranes from hardness scaling (calcium and magnesium).
  • Industrial Ion Exchange: Large-scale demineralization and softening for manufacturing or cooling towers.
  • Commercial Filtration: Used in large hotels, apartment complexes, or swimming pools when configured for filtration.

Operation Cycles

  • Service (Normal Operation): During this stage, the valve controls a "brine refill" process to prepare salt water for the next regeneration.
  • Backwash: This lifts and expands the resin bed to flush out accumulated dirt, sediment, and any broken resin particles, sending them to the drain.
  • Brine & Slow Rinse: The salt solution strips the hardness minerals from the resin, recharging it for the next service cycle.
  • Fast Rinse: This removes any remaining brine and residual hardness, ensuring the water is not salty when the system returns to service.
  • Return to Service: The final step switches the valve back to its "Service" position, allowing softened water to flow to your home or facility. The system is now ready for use until the next regeneration is triggered.

Key Features

  • Dual-Core Technology: The valve can be configured for either filtration or softening by swapping internal components or settings, providing versatility for various system builds.
  • LED Display & Keylock: The digital interface allows for precise programming of regeneration cycles. The automatic keypad lock prevents unauthorized or accidental setting changes.
  • No Hard Water Bypass: During regeneration, the valve automatically shuts off the outlet to ensure that untreated water does not enter the service line.
  • Signal Output: It features a signal port that can trigger external equipment (like a booster pump or solenoid valve) during specific cycles.
  • Interlock Capability: Multiple valves can be linked together in a system to ensure only one unit regenerates at a time, maintaining a constant flow of treated water.
