RUNXIN F56A3

The Runxin F56A3 is a manual multiport control valve primarily used for water filtration systems (such as sand, carbon, or sediment filters). It is well regarded in the water treatment industry for its durability, particularly thanks to its corrosion-resistant ceramic internal discs.

Specification

  • Valve Type: Manual Multi-Port Filter Valve
  • Flow Capacity: 4 m³/h
  • Mount Type: Top Mount
  • Inlet/Outlet Size: 1" Female Thread
  • Drain: 1" Female Thread
  • Riser Pipe: 1.05 Outside Diameter
  • Water Turbidity: <20 FTU
  • Working Pressure: 0.15 - 0.6 MPa (1.5 - 6 bar)
  • Water Temperature: 5°C - 50°C (41°F - 122°F)
  • Mounting Base: 2.5"-8NPSM
  • Filter Tank: 6" - 14"

Primary Applications

Sand Filters: For removing suspended solids from water.

  • Residential Filtration: Whole-house sediment or carbon filters.
  • RO Pre-treatment: Used as the first stage to protect Reverse Osmosis membranes from silt and chlorine.
  • Swimming Pools: Small-scale pool or spa filtration systems.
  • Industrial Pre-treatment: Protecting boilers or cooling towers from suspended solids.

Overview

The F56A3 allows you to manually cycle through the three essential stages of a water filtration system:

  • Service: The normal operating position where water is filtered through the media and sent to the outlet.
  • Backwash: Reverses the flow of water to lift the filter bed and wash away trapped sediment through the drain.
  • Fast Rinse: Flushes the media bed in the normal flow direction to settle it back into place and ensure the effluent is clean before returning to "Service" mode.

Key Features

  • Hermetic Head Faces: Uses high-degree pottery (ceramic) for the seal faces. This makes the valve resistant to corrosion, scuffing, and leaking over long-term use.
  • No Water Bypass: During the rinse cycle, the valve is designed so that no untreated water passes into the outlet (single tank type).
  • Operates Under Pressure: You can switch between functions while the system is under pressure, though it is often recommended to relieve pressure slightly for the smoothest handle rotation.
  • Simple Mechanical Design: Because it is manual, it requires no electricity, making it ideal for remote locations or systems where a power source is unavailable or unreliable.
