The Runxin F73A3 is an automatic multi-port control valve designed for twin-alternating water softener systems.
This configuration utilizes a single valve to control two separate resin tanks, ensuring a continuous supply of softened water by having one tank in service while the other is in regeneration or standby.

Operation Cycles
- Service: Normal water filtration/softening mode.
- Backwash: Reverses water flow to loosen the resin bed and wash away debris.
- Brine & Slow Rinse: Draws salt solution from the brine tank to regenerate the resin, followed by a slow rinse.
- Brine Refill: Automatically refills the brine tank with the correct amount of water for the next cycle.
- Fast Rinse: Final rinse to settle the resin bed and remove any remaining salt.
Key Features
- Continuous Water Supply: The twin-tank design provides 24/7 access to softened water. When the active tank reaches its capacity, the valve automatically switches to the standby tank and begins regenerating the exhausted one.
- Hermetic Head Faces: Uses high-hardness ceramic discs that provide excellent corrosion resistance and prevent internal leakage, extending the service life compared to traditional rubber seals.
- LCD Display & Control: Features a dynamic LED screen that displays current status, such as service or regeneration stages. The interface includes a button lock function to prevent accidental changes.
- Memory Backup: A built-in capacitor retains programmed settings for approximately 3 days during a power outage. However, the time of day may need to be reset if the outage lasts longer.
- Multi-Stage Regeneration: Cycles through Service, Backwash, Brine & Slow Rinse, Brine Refill, and Fast Rinse.
